9th August - WE LOVE SPORTS!!!

Hello!!!!!!!!!!

Have you ever played cricket? Our students have! And you can't imagine how well they did... Do you want to know more???? Go ahead!

During the morning, we had our daily library work (blogs, diaries and magazine), and then our students had to look for horror stories for tonight's theme night.

After some free time, we went to Parker's Piece, a huge park with a wide extension of green land, to practice some sports.

First of all, we learnt to play cricket, a very typical British sport... but yesterday, we made it a bit Spanish! :P We also played tennis and frisbee, and we learnt a new funny game, which consists of getting down and preventing the ball from passing through your legs... Have a look at the pics!

Looks funny, doesn't it?
After all this physical activity, we needed some rest, so it was the perfect moment for starting our book club. We decided to stay in the same park, because the weather was perfect yesterday!

During the book club, students talked about the books they chose the first day in the library, and some of them were very excited about it! This was a nice activity, and everyone could practice their listening and, on top of all, speaking skills. Congratulations! :)

Finally, we went home and after having dinner, we got ready for our theme night: "Horror Stories"!!!!! Everyone gathered in one of the bedrooms, we switched the lights off, and we had a very, very, very creepy night! We could listen to stories about goblins, ghosts, murderers...

We hope they didn't have too many nightmares.........................

See you tomorrow!!!!!!!
