14th August - PUNTING & MYSTERY!

Good morning everyone!

We are being very, very lucky with the weather, so it's perfect for doing outdoor activities... What about going punting?? Yesssssss!!!!

First of all, students did their homework at the library. Now you can tell that they are authentic Cambridge students!

After that, they could have some nice free time in the sunny weather around King's Parade. They had lunch, had a walk, and some of them even had English tea!

Then, we went to the river bank and got in our punt. We had a wonderful tour along the river Cam,   enjoying the beautiful sights that the riverside offers: colleges, gardens, bridges... Cambridge is a incredibly beautiful city, isn't it, guys?

It was a relaxing tour, and we could listen to some curious stories about Cambridge, and our chauffeur also told us a couple of legends which are not true! What do you think about the story of Isaac Newton and the apple? Do you think it really existed? Our punter said it never happened!!!!

Once at home, and after having dinner, our students had some time for preparing the theme night: "Murder Mystery Dinner"!! They had to study a role and dress up as their character. We had to find out who killed Lord Strutbury. Everyone had a lot of fun, and the teachers could observe that some of them are great actors and actresses! :)

This was a pretty funny activity for finishing our day, and then everyone went to bed :)

See you tomorrow!
